Born in Chicago, November 22, 1888. In the 1930’s lived in Chicago at 4 East Ohio Street. He lived briefly in Palm Springs before settling in Los Angeles.
Studied in Chicago, Europe, and Provincetown. Member of the Association of Painters and Sculptors, Chicago Galleries, Illinois Society of the Fine Arts, Art Institute Alumni.
Member, Treasurer, of the Arts Club of Chicago; Treasurer, Playwrights Theatre;
Member, Society for Sanity in Art. Director, Romany Club.
Prizes; Artist Guild Prize, Thompson Prize, Peterson Prize, Municipal Art League Prize for Portraiture, plus Municipal Art League Prize, 1930-9.
