Sackett, Florence (b1927)

Known for her oil painting landscapes, Florence Sackett graduated from the Kachina School of Art in Phoenix, Arizona.  Her degree was with “honors”, the first time the school had bestowed that status on a student.

She was a member of the Desert Art Center in Palm Springs, CA and active in the Oregon Society of Artists and the Oregon Artists’ Association where she taught landscape painting.
