Description

Younger brother of the renowned Australian Aboriginal artist Ronnie Tjampitjinpa and Yuyuya Nampitjinpa, Smithy Zimran was brought to the Yuendumu settlement as a baby and later joined other relatives at Papunya. Smithy served as Administrator of the Community Health Service. His country was south-west of Kintore around Lampintja.
