Muench, Charles

Impressionist Charles Muench has won numerous gold medals and awards from many of the most prestigious competitions and venues in the country including the Patron’s Choice Award at the 2005, 2008, and 2013 Maynard Dixon Country Invitational and the Irvine Museum Gold Medal Award at the California Art Club’s 101st Annual Exhibition. His paintings are included in the historic California Club’s permanent collection. He received the Edgar Payne Award for Best Landscape at the Southwest Art 99th Annual Exhibition in 2009 and their Award of Excellence at the 100th Annual Exhibition. He won the prestigious First Place Award at the 2008 Heritage Art Exhibition presented by Joan Irvine, the First Place Award and Best Painting of the Cove Award at the 2005 and 2007 Crystal Cove Alliance Invitational in Laguna Beach, CA, the Best of Show/Artist’s Choice Award at the 2006 Telluride Plein Air Show, and the Gold Medal Award at the San Luis Obispo Plein Air Event in October 2002.
